Smile stimulation technology enables us to provide a sneak smile preview of your likely veneer results!
The next step in the process is to take digital impressions. We use the impressions and analyze your teeth, gum line and facial aesthetics to create the perfect color, shape and size veneers. We prepare your teeth by removing a minimal portion of enamel to help the veneers lay flat in line with your gum tissue. Then we secure temporary veneers crafted from natural-looking PMMA with removable glue that you’ll wear until your porcelain veneers come back from the dental lab.
When your permanent veneers are ready, you’ll return to our office and our team will remove the temporary veneers and make sure the permanent ones fits well, match your other teeth and complement your facial aesthetics. If any adjustments are required, this is done prior to permanently bonding the veneers to your teeth. Although veneers don’t stain like natural teeth, it’s still important to brush and floss twice a day and avoid grinding or clenching your teeth. Veneers can cause temporary mild discomfort, but when you look in the mirror and see your dazzling pearly whites reflecting back at you, you’ll instantly know you made the right decision!
