Eagle Service Club
Service is defined as an action to help or do work for someone.
The Community of Ron Nunn is based on the Eagle Code of:
It is only natural to cultivate a spirit of service in our students by offering volunteer opportunities in schools, classrooms and the community. Giving back not only helps others, it also makes us feel good. The Eagle Service Club is open to all 3rd through 5th grade students.
The parents and staff of Ron Nunn Elementary School come together as a PTO (Parent Teachers' Organization) to set up the Ron Nunn Parent's Club (RNPC). Our objectives are to foster interaction between family and school, to serve as a source of support, and to work with teachers, staff and the wider community to improve the educational experience of our children. The RNPC works closely with the school administration to achieve its objectives.
The Ron Nunn Parents Club supports the entire school population through fundraising and family-oriented events. They are a group of parents who want to build a strong working relationship between parents, school and the community. For the 2019-2020 school year, their aim is to raise funds for their Learning Enrichment Program (Accelerated Reader 360 and Intervention Specialists), Character Education Program (Awareness Assemblies) and Educational Enrichment Programs (Walk Through Revolution and Other School Performances) and Technology Support (software, computers, and other technology).
The Parents Club is a separate entity from the school and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
