First inaugurated in August 2000, Loma Vista Elementary is a Pre-Primary, Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade school. Their school is a place where all children are nurtured and driven to be lifelong learners by promoting and instilling the 4 R's; respect, responsibility, relationships and resiliency.
Loma Vista is committed to academic excellence and a nurturing environment in which students come first. Creating a safe environment for students to take risks in learning is essential in any school. The staff of Loma Vista believes in creating positive relationships and communication between teachers, students, parents and staff.
All of them at Loma Vista Elementary School are eager and energized to start what promises to be a wonderful school year. Loma Vista students will have the opportunity to develop their capacity to think critically, solve problems and communicate effectively in a positive learning environment. It is important to them that everyone who walks through their doors—teachers, students and parents—is excited to be here. This approach empowers them to address the challenges of academic excellence in a positive and nurturing environment.
The Loma Vista Parents' Club was organized in such a way that students/parents/caregivers could support the school through financial and voluntary means. They host social and fundraising efforts all year round.
