Dolphin Park - Water Play Feature

2325 Atterbury Ln, Brentwood, CA 94513, United States

Dolphin Park, located at 2325 Atterbury Road, is Brentwood's newest water play park.  Splash around with a sea monster or dance under a dolphin in a large water play area. The features of the water play run from 10 a.m. p.m. From 1st April to 31st October. Parks are a visible reflection of the quality of life of a society.  They provide the identity of people and are a key factor in the understanding of the quality of life in a given community.

  • A Reason To Visit Parks

Parks and leisure programs are often cited as one of the most important factors in the study of living communities. Parks offer meeting areas for families and social groups, as well as people of all ages and economic status, regardless of their ability to pay for access.

Parks and protected public lands have been shown to improve the quality of water, conserve groundwater, prevent flooding, improve the quality of the air we breathe, provide vegetative buffers for growth, provide protection for wildlife, and provide a place for children and families to interact with nature and play outdoors.

  • Take Your Kid To The Dolphin Park!

Children will find water that is both soothing and invigorating depending on the activity being viewed. The enthusiastic splashing and jumping and playing around in the water can be an excellent outlet for pent-up energy. It's a great way for kids to have fun and let go of steam!

Water play doesn't have to be noisy and active, it can be a peaceful activity where kids are gently absorbed. A little like losing yourself on a coloring sheet, children enjoy the soothing and repetitive act of scooping, pouring and running their hands through the mud. Just as adults enjoy relaxing in a warm bath, children will lose themselves in the physical rhythm of gentle water play, helping them to relax, organize their thoughts and relax.

Water play provides many opportunities to develop gross and fine motor skills across age ranges. You only have to look at a young child when the water is shown flowing in front of them, reach out to feel the stream and try to capture the flow with a whole hand grip, and then with early pincer grip movements, so that the creation continues to grow as it does.
