Creekside Park

1010 Claremont Dr, Brentwood, CA 94513, United States

Creekside Park has been a part of Brentwood Park's landscape for decades.  It's been offering years of fun, memories, and adventure to Brentwood families since the 1980s.  Recently, the park was given a complete facelift with a redesign of the site. If you haven't had a chance to visit the revamped park yet, now is the ideal time to schedule a day at Creekside!  Local Backroads are thrilled to see the park upgrades!

Creekside Park is located at 1010 Claremont Road, Brentwood, CA.  Like many parks in Brentwood, Creekside Park is accessible from the Marsh Creek Trail, which passes through the city.  It ensures that you can get to the park on foot, by bike, by scooter or by car. Creekside Park is tucked away in the Brentwood area and provides street parking.

  • How Huge Is It?

Creekside Park is a big park.  With more than 6 acres of parkland, there is space for most outdoor activities. Added to the fact that the park surrounds the Marsh Creek trail, there is almost no limit to how to spend the day.  The park has also been neglected for years, because it really needed a facelift. Nevertheless, the enhancements the City of Brentwood has channeled into the park make it a key part of the local park landscape.

The play structures at Creekside Park are part of the construction process.  There are two different areas of play. First, the framework designed for children aged 2 to 5 years. This is a smaller built structure offering a variety of climbing challenges with enjoyable amenities.

The larger structure is a 3 story building, built for children aged 5 to 12 years old! In all the adventures in the forest, this is–hands down–the biggest structure we've ever seen. With a forest and log cabin theme, it really feels like an outdoor adventure.  Aspects of the park are also ADA compliant, rendering this park one of the city's most open parks.

  • Why You Should Visit Creekside Park

Creekside Park has the most natural shade in any park in the region. Since the park is a mature park, there have been decades of tree-growing and spacious shade throughout the park.  In the heat of the Brentwood season, shade is a welcome addition to the area. The layers of shade make Creekside cooler than some of the newer parks.
