First, we spend time discovering the smile that excites you the most and fits you the best. We do that by looking at celebrity photos in magazines, personal pictures of you at a younger age and paging through our smile catalog, which is full of successful “before-and-after” cases.

Once you decide on a smile, we discuss your treatment goals and then move forward with records, a wax model and a technology called “smile imaging”, which gives you an idea of what your new smile will look like. If necessary, we also take digital X-rays and photos of your teeth.

During your next appointment, we take impressions of your prepped teeth and send them to our LVI- and AACD-certified laboratory. Our lab has a special High Aesthetic Division composed of master ceramists who possess decades of craftsmanship designing restorations to our precise specifications.

Understanding the Porcelain Veneer Process

When the lab returns your provisionals, we conduct a “Trial Smile” phase, where you spend a few days wearing them and testing them for proper look, fit and feel. Then you report back to us and together we customize your smile, making subtle modifications to the measurements that the lab will use to create your final porcelain veneers.

You provide all of the feedback to Brentwood dental experts, Siao and Rayani, which we convey to our lab. Through time-tested techniques, the lab enhances those specifications — a collaboration that results in a most natural possible restoration.

In two weeks the lab returns your final veneers to our Antioch dental office (in some cases, our lab can create a full set of veneers in only one week). You come in for a final visit and we adhere the veneers to your teeth!
